*The PLTQ must submit certain personal information to confirm your donation with the buyer and Banques alimentaires du Québec. As a result, we would like to obtain your consent to communicate and use this personal information under the circumstances outlined below.

Sharing the donor's information (company name, donor's first and last name, address, email) with Banques alimentaires du Québec and Nortera.

Consent to the disclosure and use of personal information

Under this Program, producers of peas, beans and sweet corn for processing have the opportunity to voluntarily donate a portion of their production to contribute to Banques alimentaires du Québec (BAQ). These vegetables will be frozen or canned free of charge by Nortera’s plants, which will then deliver them to BAQ.

  1. For every pound donated by the producer, Nortera commits to donating an additional pound to Banques alimentaires du Québec as part of the Récolte-Don! Program.

  2. PLTQ will confirm the list of donors and the quantities donated to Nortera. Nortera will deduct the monetary value of the donated vegetables from the producer’s final payment.

  3. The volume of vegetables offered to the Récolte-Don! Program is deducted from the first tons delivered to the plants. If the offered volume cannot be harvested, the producer will not be held responsible and may be exempted from their commitment unless they choose to contribute otherwise.

  4. The Program allows adjustments to the donation quantity (up or down) until the end of the harvest:

    • August 12 for peas

    • September 22 for beans

    • October 6 for sweet corn

  5. The Récolte-Don! Program is part of a provincial campaign managed by Banques alimentaires du Québec. The organization will issue tax receipts to producers based on the value of their donation.
